Please go to md42 to purchase #6 wicking. Out of Stock The wick is the pipeline that feeds the melted wax vapor to the flame by capillary action. It is important to choose the right wick so the candle will burn slowly with an even flame and will not drip or smoke. Selection of wick size is determined by the diameter of the candle and the hardness and melting point of the wax used. #6 square braid wicking is recommended for 5" to 7" diameter pillars using paraffin with stearic acid, and for 2" to 3" beeswax candles. This 8 ounce roll contains approximately 255 feet of wicking.
