12 ounce block This is very nice beeswax strained well and is as pure as Mother Nature intended and without the rough elements of the hive. While raw beeswax is an often used ingredient in homemade, custom wax polishes, it is also an excellent, light lubricant for wooden moving parts such as drawer slides or wooden bench screws. Screws lubricated with beeswax drive easier in hard woods, and beeswax will not attract or hold moisture! Beeswax is the oldest and purest wax in the world. No chemicals or artificial ingredients put into this wax!! Just as the bees it! Beeswax has been used in hundreds of products, including : candles, cosmetics, soap, potpourri, adhesives, lubricants, fly paper, furniture polish, and paint removers. It also has many uses, like : Easter Egg decorating, sculpting, lubricating of thread and nails, waxing bowstrings, coating on waffle irons, and many, many other craft uses. The melting point of beeswax is 142 degrees. Care of beeswax products is very simple: occasionally buff with a soft cloth or warm with a blow dryer to return original luster and honey scent, insuring many years of enjoyment.
