Prices are very attractive for beekeepers who need the best working value for their dollar. That is where the new Better Way Wax Melters excel. Simpler Design: In fact, the design features on the melters add better performance and longer life that will actually save you money over the long run. For instance, the removable inner tank is so simple in its purpose. In itself, it becomes a honey wax separator, renderer of dark combs, cappings melter, sterilizer, queen excluder cleaner, and liquifier. There is no need to cut out dark comb from frames and ship it out. Run the dark comb through the Better Way Wax Melter and get all the wax out. In fact, you can do three jobs in one operation: sterilize, clean the frames and harvest the wax. All of the above is done at a temperature of 300� in a two-hour period. When you sterilize, you are not only killing harmful diseases but the scourge of all bees - American foul brood. Special filters and baffle, along with the removable inner tank, make it a premium machine. The large tank floor surface permits larger amounts of cappings to be spread out for faster heat penetration from the bottom and top. Example: The 15F will hold 30 gals. of cappings six inches deep and process this in a two hour period at a temperature of 300�. The separation of honey from cappings will take longer because you want to save the honey. A temperature setting of 170� is recommended. Advanced Design: Continuous blower operation maintains efficiency and reduces the time the heavy duty industrial heating elements are operating. Twenty-six gauge galvanized metal and lockformed seams give the machines strong durability. Two-inch thick fiberglass lining between two galvanized sheet metal walls create thermal insulation surrounding the inner tank. The machines have quiet running blower motors placed underneath the tank and above to give maximum heat penetration. A main toggle switch actuates the power to the machine. The Robert Shaw control works independently and has easy-to-read temperature settings. A red indicator light comes on automatically on set command from the Robert Shaw control. The electrical controls are centrally located and easily accessible for quick servicing. Innovations like these make the Better Way Wax Melter a true value long after you've had it in service. The machines have industrial type heating elements that are 1000 watt, 120 volts. The 1000 watt elements are used in models 15F through 50 F. The bottom blower fan sets over the heating element to give maximum efficiency. The sturdy metal stand is undercoated with primer and then enamel finished.
